The Sunday Currently, Vol. 03

Apparently, I wasn't able to post this yesterday because of the crappy internet connection. But nonetheless, here's my Sunday in a nutshell:

Reading Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler…for the second time. And this interesting read that my friend shared over Facebook about the reality of getting a traditional tattoo from Whang Od. Goodbye, my hopes of getting a traditional tatt. I don't think I can't handle the pain. I'm sorry but I have to admire you from afar. </3

Writing uhm…this post? And a draft of another long-overdue post. Haven’t been doing some progress with Écrire lately. I’m sorry for being such a procrastinator. :----(

Listening to Ebe Dancel. Why am I appreciating him and his band just now??? Bawat Daan on repeat. Now I have the sudden urge to buy tickets for their DAMA concert this July. But no, I’ve got to stick with my financial plans. Just for this year, self.

Thinking of  dyeing my hair again because the roots are showing, revealing my naturally black hair. But I'm too lazy so I'll probably just grow it out 'til it looks like an ombre. Hahaha kidding! A darker shade of brown, maybe.

Smelling the eucalyptus scent of the organic soap I bought from Tree’s Soap.

Wishing I could teleport to Baguio right now just to hug Josh because it’s our 21st month tomorrow (July 4)!!! :-(  ♥

Hoping to finish this invitation I'm working on. Yes, you could if you would just stop procrastinating. PLEASE.

Wearing yellow shirt and blue shorts.

Loving the nude and mauve lipstick shades! I recently bought Maybelline’s creamy matte: Touch Of Spice, my favorite shade, next to NYX’s Stockholm. But it’s so hard to be obsessed with lipsticks because they have like 8352407 shades and it’s hard to pick just one. Huhu.

Wanting to visit the National Museum again because they’re not charging entrance fees anymore. PERMANENTLY. Yay! We weren’t able to see everything when Josh and I visited the place because some parts of the building were under construction.

Needing a lot of cash, because my spending kinda got out of hand when I had that spontaneous trip to Ilocos Norte with my friends. No regrets though.

Feeling a little sleepy. I did nothing but stay up late while watching TV series this weekend. Me and my bad decisions.

Clicking through different blogs, looking for some good reads. If you have any suggestions, comment the link below. Or, you know, just comment something because I want to check out the blogs of my readers too. ;-)

  1. I just recently discovered Ebe Dancel and his band though I have heard of Sugarfree but didn't know the songs they play. I like Bawat Daan and Wag Ka Ng Umiyak! Their songs are lovely. Happy 21st to you and your bf! xx

  2. traditional tattoo from Whang Od is in my bucketlist. I was in college when my theater professor told us about her and his experience. It was scary, yes. But when I saw the tattoo I was like "wow I want that too" haha I mean you know, she's a legend. But yaaaas I don't know when I'll get inked tho because my dad's gonna be so mad if he finds out haha.

    1. Hi, Danica! Same feels here! Been wanting to get inked for so long now, but I don't know how to deal with the parents. But in time, yes? So for now, I'm in the process of looking for the best tatt idea. Haha.

  4. You have no idea how I badly want/need cash too! HAHA. My bestfriend got a tattoo from the legendary (I still forget her name until now - looking up your first paragraph, LOL). Anyway, the travel time was WOW, 13 hours? She asked me to get one for myself and she will come with me, but I really don't know when that will happen. Hehe.

Hope you have a great weekend! :)

    1. I haven't been there yet but a lot of my friends did (and also got their tattoo from Whang Od). The thrill and adventure sure looked fun but I'm not sure if I'm ready for it just yet (bc I'm a scaredy cat hahaha). Can't wait to hear about your adventure once your plan pushes through. Haha. Thanks, Rea! :)

  5. I've been saving a lot lately because I need cash! Haha. I also want to have a tattoo by Whang Od but my place is too far. As of lippies, I tried Kylie Lip Kit of my cousin and it's very nice but didn't much appealed to me. Nyx is more okay. :)

    1. Hi, Kai! I heard the trip to Whang Od was equally fun, too, especially for people seeking for adventure talaga. Hehe. ;) Haven't tried Kylie Lip Kits though. I find them a bit too overpriced, so I'm gonna settle with Nyx because it does the job naman. Haha! #priorities bc I'm saving up as well.
