The Happy List, Vol. 04

April 12, 2017

The first quarter of the year was quite a blur. Everything seemed to happen so fast that I couldn't even keep track of the things I signed up for. It was pretty tiring, yes. Of course there were some minor mishaps, but nonetheless, I'm still very thankful for all the blessings that are coming my way.

1. First on the list: ticked hiking off my bucketlist! Last February, my workmates and I braved Mt. Maculot in Cuenca, Batangas. The experience was surreal, so I'm looking forward to conquering more summits in the coming months. Hopefully, Mt. Ulap and/or Mt. Pulag would be next.

2. One major accomplishment this quarter was being able to finally launch my first-ever calligraphy class. All thanks to my good blogger friend, Blanche, who recommended me to their company. I facilitated three basic watercolor and calligraphy classes at Convergys, Technohub last March.

3. My parents weren't married in church. So for their 25th anniversary (April 3), my Dad planned out a surprise wedding with my Mom. Of course, he can't orchestrate it alone since he's with our mom all the time so my sister, Lovette and I did all the ground work. We had 2 or 3 weeks to organize everything, and thankfully, it all went out well. Big thanks to the rest who helped us!

4. And to Josh who spent his entire day helping us set up the venue. He came all the way from Baguio and headed straight to the place, and had to leave early the next morning. So thank you! On a side note, while my parents were celebrating their 25th year, we were celebrating our 2.5th (30th month). ðŸ’•

5. I won Clozette x Chinchin Obcena's The Girl contest! I got a full-sized Tommy Hilfiger x Gigi Hadid perfume and a tote bag as a prize!

6. I was chosen as a participant in a food photography workshop for FREE. And I also got to meet other bloggers.

7. My blog turned 1 last March. I promised myself that I'll host a giveaway, but due to the busy schedule, I had no time to organize one. I'm sorryyyy. But anyway, it'll push thru this April or May, so watch out!

8. And lastly, more blogging opportunities! I know my stats aren't too promising and the competition is pretty tough, but it really warms my heart to know that there are still brands who are willing to trust small-time bloggers like me. I'm really excited to see what's in store in the coming months, and thank you, my dearest readers, for sticking with me.

P.S. *shameless plug* Please like my recently launched Facebook Page which can also be found on my side bar. Thaaaanks!

Wishing everyone a blessed Holy Week!
